Exe Estuary

We live close to the Exe Estuary – the biggest area of estuarine habitat in Devon.  Designated as a Ramsar Site, SSSI etc it is an important over wintering area for waders and wildfowl.   Here are a few pictures of over wintering birds on the Exe and the Exe Estuary

The town I grew up in.   The latest Millenium Lottery Bid inspired project is Spinnaker Tower.  An amazing construction marred only by the broken down outdoor lift which if sorted out will be a thrilling ride.
